Jealousy: Youths burn watermelon from fellows in KK

Lawyer Sylvester Ayuba has condemned the alleged arson attack on a watermelon farm in Nkhotakota, which damaged over 500 watermelons worth approximately MK5 million.

Ayuba, who sponsored the farm, stated that the incident has left him devastated.

He plans to visit the farm today to encourage the affected youths not to be discouraged and to use the incident as motivation to achieve more.

The farm, initiated by Ayuba, aimed to empower young men and women through agriculture.

The affected group had been celebrating their impending harvest and first deliver to Lilongwe.
