A heated debate has erupted in the Malawian music scene after musician Driemo publicly slammed fellow artist Rashley, claiming he had lost popularity due to a presumable sex scandal four years ago.

However, Rashley has since responded, using a live stream to clarify the situation and express his surprise at Driemo’s harsh words.

Rashley revealed that he had supported Driemo behind the scenes, making Driemo’s criticism all the more unexpected.

Regarding the scandal, Rashley acknowledged that a video had been edited to portray him in a negative light, and while he couldn’t change the past, he was taking responsibility for his actions .

The public has largely rallied behind Rashley, with many Facebook users accusing Driemo of starting an unnecessary war.
