Local authorities mark positives from taming violence

Sub Traditional Authority Maliro in Mangochi has commended the reduction in political violence ahead of the September 16 elections.

Maliro attributed the calm to the coexistence among political party supporters and contestants.

Meanwhile, Overton Imedi, Mangochi North Eastern Constituency candidate, campaigned in the area, promising to address development challenges, including electricity, roads, and healthcare.

Imedi also pledged to build a technical college and provide loans for women’s businesses.
