Motorbike heist: Police net infamous robber

Police in Blantyre have arrested Nelson Sulani after he was allegedly found with 15 motorcycles suspected to have been stolen.

Limbe Police spokesperson Edwin Mnkhambo confirmed the arrest, saying Sulani is suspected of dismantling the stolen motorcycles and replacing parts with those from other bikes.

Mnkhambo added that most motorcycle thefts occur at night due to negligence by some kabaza operators.

Sulani is expected to appear in court soon to answer charges related to possession of stolen property.
