Ba neba: HH congratulates Mutharika

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema has congratulated Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and Justice Jane Mayemu Ansah on their election as President Elect and Vice President Elect of Malawi, respectively.

Hichilema praised the outcome of Malawi’s September 16 General Election as a reflection of the people’s will and a milestone in strengthening democracy in the region .

He also commended outgoing President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for demonstrating statesmanship and respect for democratic values.

Hichilema saluted the people of Malawi for exercising their democratic right peacefully, setting an example for the region and continent.

He concluded with a blessing for Malawi and Africa.
