Hyenas cause TROUBLE in Chikwawa

Communities in Chikwawa’s Timbenawo and Moses Patalawo areas are living in fear due to hyena attacks from Majete game reserves, which have resulted in cattle killings.

Senior Chief Chapananga confirmed that hyenas have been disturbing residents for three months, exploiting a hole they dug in the fence along a river.

The African Parks Majete Manager, John Adendorff, has requested a thorough investigation, despite receiving community complaints.

Adendorff claims that Majete has no records of hyenas breaching the fence and that tightened security makes it unlikely for Majete hyenas to disturb the communities.
