UK court cracks whip on Alice Andrews

A Malawian social media engager, Alice Mgomezulu (also known as Alice Andrews), has been ordered by the High Court in London to remove private messages she posted on Facebook without consent.

he court demands removal of the posts by midnight UK time.

The legal action was taken by another Malawian woman living in the UK, who is seeking £5,000 in damages, represented by solicitor Mzondi Lungu.

Although Andrews has agreed to remove the posts, she plans to contest the damages claim.
