MHRC gears for Access to Information reflections

The Malawi Human Rights Commission (MHRC), Centre for Human Rights and Rehabilitation (CHRR), and MISA Malawi are jointly commemorating the 2025 International Day for Universal Access to Information (IDUAI).

A press briefing was held on September 30 to unveil plans for the commemoration, including the theme and key activities.

The national commemoration will take place in Mzuzu on October 10, 2025, bringing together stakeholders to reflect on progress and challenges in ensuring access to information in Malawi.

The event aims to promote democratic governance, transparency, and accountability through public access to information.
