Manhunt underway for Mponela murder incident

Police in Mponela have launched a manhunt for a suspect accused of murdering 48-year-old Zintambira Sauli, who was found dead in his home.

Sauli’s body was discovered with no signs of forced entry or struggle, but a postmortem revealed he died from strangulation.

The suspect, who remains at large, is believed to have stolen items from Sauli’s home, including a bag of fertilizer, 30 kilograms of soya beans, and a blanket.

The suspect’s father was tipped off by his daughter, who witnessed the suspect dropping off the stolen items, but the suspect escaped when questioned.
