Terrible: Man commits suicide in Chiwembe

A man committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree near the sewage area in Chiwembe, Limbe, Blantyre .

Pupils from Misesa Primary School discovered his body while walking home and reported the incident to their teacher, who then alerted the police.

The police have taken the body to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital for postmortem and identification.

Sam Kadyole, Limbe Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, urged the public to seek help from the Victim Support Unit when facing difficulties, rather than resorting to suicide .
