Blantyre getting BACK to life!

President Peter Mutharika has directed the relocation of key gov’t agencies from Lilongwe to Blantyre, citing Blantyre’s commercial city stature.

Affected agencies include:

1. Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA)

2. Malawi Housing Authority (MHA)

3. Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC).

Additionally, the Malawi Prison Service will relocate from Lilongwe to Zomba.

The relocation process will take at least three months.
