DPP proposes Suleman for Speaker of Parliament

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has appointed Sameer Suleman, as its official candidate for the National Assembly Speaker election scheduled for October 29, 2025.

The party has called on all DPP MPs and alliance partners to support Suleman in the election.
