Fake doctor ARRESTED in Dowa

Police in Dowa have arrested Madalitso Tsanzo, aged 27, on suspicion that he possessed essential medical drugs without a licence.

According to Mponela Police spokesperson Sergeant Macpatson Msadala, the suspect, who comes from Missi Village in the area of Senior Chief Chakhaza in the district, was arrested today at Mponela Trading Centre.

Msadala said police received a tip from well-wishers that Tsanzo was keeping medical drugs illegally and officers conducted a search and found him with assorted drugs.

Police have since taken the suspect into custody as investigations continue.
