Four Police officers arrested for stealing MK143 MILLION
Four Malawi Police officers have been arrested for allegedly robbing an Indian national of MK143 million in Blantyre’s Sunnyside area.
The suspects, Sergeant Leonard Poya, Sergeant Pemphero Kachipapa, Sergeant Fabiano Phillip, and Sergeant John Bokosi (still at large), were nabbed after a thorough investigation.
The robbery involved a sting operation where the victim, Yasin Patel, was lured to Gelato by two Indian nationals, Nouman Khan and Faraz Khan, who colluded with the police officers.
