Man KILLED for stealing potatoes
A man has been killed in Thyolo District after allegedly stealing sweet potatoes from a garden in Magombo Village.
According to Thyolo Police Public Relations Officer Rebecca Kashoti, the incident occurred when the garden owner, Rahim Banda, spotted the trespasser and raised an alarm, prompting villagers to assault the suspect.
he victim was rushed to Thyolo District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter.
