Six in court for beating activists during demonstrations
			The Principal Resident Magistrate’s Court in Lilongwe is hearing a case involving six men accused of attacking activist Sylvester Namiwa and hacking civil servants with pangas.
The suspects, from different districts, face charges including grievous harm, malicious damage, theft, and robbery.

2. Joseph Tilibe Gidien (50)
3. Lameck Mandowa (42)
4. Lester Hanleck Aaron Kanjunga (38)
5. Howard Hamuza (27)
6. Mavuto Njuchi (27)
The Malawi Police Service says investigations are ongoing to identify other possible accomplices.
The police urge citizens to remain calm and allow the legal process to unfold.
