Mutharika appoints head of Anti Corruption Bureau
President Peter Mutharika has appointed Counsel Gabriel Chembezi as the new Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), effective immediately.
Chembezi, a Notary Public and member of the African-German Research Network for Transnational Criminal Justice, brings experience as a State Advocate and Prosecutions Officer.
He holds a Master of Laws Degree in Transnational Criminal Justice and Crime Prevention and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree.
