Train catches FIRE in Balaka
A Locomotive Engine carrying cargo from Mozambique to Lilongwe caught fire in Balaka District.
The incident occurred at Nsangu Area, and the operator was alerted by villagers who saw smoke.
The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
The burnt engine and wagons were taken to Balaka Railway Station for safekeeping.
