Malawi Police Officer arrested for STEALING beer

Inspector Charles Chafukira, 58, a chef at Zomba Police College, has arrested for allegedly breaking into the Mess Bar and stealing beverages.

He used a duplicate key to gain access. Chafukira was caught after a support staff member, Kumbukani Chilemba, who was keeping watch, confronted him.

He fled but was later apprehended, bleeding from a chin wound.

Stolen items include Carlsberg Special beer, Castel beer, and Pomme cider.
