Mpesa: SDA Church fight goes to court ‘AGAIN’

The Registered Trustees of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church has dragged some Bangwe SDA Church members to the High Court in Blantyre over a long-running dispute.

The church is suing several individuals, including Amos Kuipa and Patrick Raphael, for allegedly occupying and using church property unlawfully.

The dispute centers on the South Malawi Conference’s decision to dissolve the Bangwe branch, which has refused to comply, citing adherence to SDA teachings.

The church is seeking possession of the disputed property and damages of K700,000 per month.
