Cameroon addresses sexual challenges
The Cameroon government has reduced the prices of medicines used to treat sexual dysfunction.
The move is part of the government’s wider effort to make essential health products more affordable for everyone.
Officials say the decision comes at a time when the number of men experiencing erectile dysfunction is steadily increasing.
By lowering drug prices, the government hopes to make treatment more accessible and to highlight that sexual health is an important part of overall well-being—not a luxury.
The price reduction was announced in a statement signed by Cameroon’s Minister of Public Health, Manaouda Malachie.
