Mango fetching woman dies!
A woman has died after falling from a mango tree in Balaka’s Kachenga area.
Falida Matenda, originally from Zomba, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Mbera Health Centre after losing her balance and falling from the tree.
Balaka police spokesperson Gladson M’bumpha confirmed the incident, stating that a postmortem examination attributed Matenda’s death to head injuries and loss of blood.
