“People growing maize on Bullets stadium”
Details have emerged that some people are growing maize on the FCB Nyasa Big Bullets stadium in Blantyre.
The project to develop the facility has been stalled since 2019.
During a recent tour of the site, Minister of sports Patricia Wiskes said the government is committing to completing the project.
The sight showed the maize ridges and pledged to expedite the completion of the stadium, as well as the Wanderers stadium in Soche.
No further details on the timeline or actions against those responsible have been disclosed.
