“Give us three points” Wanderers want result changed against Silver

Mighty Wanderers FC has demanded that the Super League of Malawi (Sulom) declare them winners of their 2-2 draw against Silver Strikers, citing a disallowed goal.

The club’s letter to Sulom alleges the assistant referee incorrectly ruled the goal offside and requests the result be changed to a 3-2 Wanderers win, with three points awarded.

The Nomads also want the officiating crew banned from their matches, citing “poor and erroneous decisions” and possible bias.

Sulom has not yet responded to the complaint.

Wanderers are currently second in the TNM Super League standings.
