BREAKING: Esau Kanyenda DIES
Former Malawi national football team striker Esau Kanyenda has died hours after he personally posted he was battling against liver cancer in the UK.

Kanyenda, affectionately known as “Black Mamba,” had a storied career playing for several top clubs, including:FC Welfare (Malawi)- Jomo Cosmos(South Africa)- FC Rostov (Russia)- FC Lokomotiv Moscow (Russia)- FC KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny (Russia)- Rotor Volgograd (Russia)- Dynamo Bryansk (Russia)- B93 (Denmark)- Polokwane City (South Africa)- Mighty Mukuru Wanderers (Malawi).
Kanyenda, who made his international debut in 2000, is remembered for his impressive skills on the pitch.
He was named Malawian Footballer of the Year in 2001 and 2002.
