Might thieves: Tigers equipment stolen in Chiweta

Mighty Tigers have had their entire bag of equipment stolen from their team bus while travelling in the Chiweta Hills in Rumphi District.

Team Manager White Suzumile confirmed the incident, saying the incident occurred while they were returning from Chitipa where they lost 3-2 to Chitipa United in a TNM Super League match.

Suzumile said the equipment was left in the boot, but when they stopped to ease themselves , they realised that the thieves had opened the boot and stolen the equipment.

According to the manager, the stolen equipment included balls, training kit, cones, training bibs, a passport and a 50kg bag of rice.
