“Accept and move on”, Malawians tell Mary over Chilima’s death

There has been an outpouring of condolences and messages of support for Mary Chilima, wife of the late Saulos Chilima, following her emotional post about missing her husband.

Many are urging her and the nation to accept his passing and move forward.

Chilima who was Malawi’s Vice president that time died in a plane crash on June 10, 2024, along with eight others in Chikangawa forest.

An inquiry into the incident was instituted by the MCP administration and reviewed by the DPP administration, but the outcome hasn’t been disclosed yet.
