Wanderers hunt for league’s top spot

Mighty Wanderers are on the hunt for the top spot in the TNM Super League, facing Karonga United at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre this afternoon.

This comes after FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, the current league leaders, suffered a 2-0 defeat to Moyale Barracks yesterday.

With both Bullets and Wanderers tied at 59 points, a win for the Nomads would temporarily put them in control of the league table.

However, they’ll face stiff competition from Karonga United, who are aiming to secure their place in the top 8 .

Karonga United currently sits sixth with 40 points, just a point shy of Civo (fourth) and Blue Eagles (fifth).
