Kabwila ARRESTED!

Jessie Kabwila, spokesperson for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP), has been arrested in Lilongwe.

Her lawyer, George Kadzipatike, says she voluntarily presented herself to police at Area 30 after being summoned.

The charges against her haven’t been disclosed, but Kadzipatike suspects it’s linked to the case involving MCP running mate Vitumbiko Mumba, who was arrested earlier.

Kabwila was part of the ‘We Got This’ press conference where election rigging allegations were raised.
