Activist Kajoloweka declines board appointment
Activist Charles Kajoloweka has turned down his appointment to the TEVETA board.
He cites principles and ethics. In a letter to Chief Secretary Justin Saidi, the youth rights advocate said accepting the role could compromise his organization’s independence and advocacy work.
This isn’t the first time Kajoloweka has declined a board appointment, having previously turned down a position on the National Youth Council board in 2020.
Kajoloweka is the Executive Director of Youth and Society.
