Soldier found dead

A Malawi Defense Force soldier identified as Mark Tomoka Kamanga has died just a day after his birthday celebrations.

It is widely thought he committed suicide.

We have yet to independently verify.

But, by law, if that is the case, his funeral ceremony will not be accorded military honors as it were.
