Teenage with albinism saved by police in Nsanje

Police in Nsanje have rescued a 17-year-old boy with albinism who was attacked by a 30-year-old man, Wise Madan, over a memory card theft claim.

Madan allegedly tried to stab the teen at Chabe village.

Thanks to a tip-off, a rapid response team swiftly disarmed the suspect.

“The victim, a Standard 8 learner, was in immediate danger,” says Deputy Police PRO Jabulani Ng’oma.

Madan has been charged with Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.
