Woman arrested for stealing four month baby

Aisha Wilson, 23 has been arrested in Mangochi for allegedly stealing a four-month-old baby from her neighbour.

The incident happened when Wilson, who often took the baby for walks, failed to return her.

Police tracked her to Mangochi boma, where she was appled by community members and handed over.

The baby was recovered safely and reunited with her mother, Patuma Christopher.

Wilson, from Chilipa Village, will face court soon charged with child stealing under Section 167 of the Penal Code.
