Dowa men arrested for murder
Police in Dowa have arrested Witness Nkhoma, 22, and Chisomo Paul, 25, for allegedly killing Gift Kanyoza, 32, from Missi village.
The incident happened on Christmas Day when the suspects visited a bar in Dowa Boma.
Paul bought shoes, and while heading home, they stopped at Blantyre bar along Dowa Boma-Dzaleka road.
Kanyoza allegedly tried to steal the shoes, leading to a fight.
He was found dead the next morning.
Police spokesperson Alice Sitima confirmed the arrests following investigations.
