Man goes missing after attempting to cross a river
A 30-year-old man, William Manda, is missing after attempting to cross the Lweya River in Nkhatabay District.
He was headed to his farmland in Kawulambwee to harvest maize but disappeared mid-river while trying to fetch a boat.
Search efforts are underway, but there’s no update on his whereabouts.
The community is shocked, and police are investigating.
