Cholera kills one in Blantyre

One individual has succumbed to cholera in Blantyre authorities say.

Currently, the total number of cholera cases in the district is at 34.

Chrissy Banda, the spokesperson for the Blantyre District Health Office, confirmed this information to , indicating that the areas most impacted include Chilomoni, Chileka, Chirimba, Ndirande, Zingwangwa, Mpemba, and Bangwe.

Banda stated that they are currently awaiting additional cholera vaccines from the Ministry of Health for distribution to the public, and she has urged Malawians to adhere to preventive measures.
