Net wider: Malawi netball coach to name staff

The Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) has declared that the newly appointed High-Performance Netball Consultant, Debbie Fuller, will select her own support staff following a series of interviews.

Fuller is also anticipated to provide training for a minimum of six local coaches.

Nam has engaged the former Silver Ferns goal-defender from New Zealand on a one-year contract to assist in revitalizing the Queens.

Fuller is scheduled to arrive in the country on February 21, marking the beginning of a new chapter, as this will be the first occasion that the Queens will be coached by an individual from abroad.

She is set to come with an impressive reputation, having secured numerous medals as an assistant coach for the Silver Ferns from 2018 to 2025.

As head coach, she led the Silver Ferns to a gold medal victory at the 2018 Fast5 Netball World Series.
