Popular football fan Misinde mourned!
The soccer community is grieving the loss of Yosefe Bolamoyo Misinde, who was the chairperson of the Mighty Wanderers supporters committee for the Northern Region.
He passed away on Monday at Mzuzu Central Hospital.
Misinde, who lost his life due to complications related to diabetes, had been the chairperson of the Nomads supporters committee in the region for approximately ten years.
Mervin Nkunika, the chairperson of the Mighty Wanderers FC Supporters Committee, expressed that Misinde’s passing is a significant loss for the football community, emphasizing his dedication to the development of soccer in the country.
In addition, Masiya Nyasulu, the chairperson of the Northern Region Football Association, conveyed their sorrow over Misinde’s death, remarking that they have lost a key figure in the advancement of football in the region.
Misinde also held the position of director for the now-defunct Mzuzu Fish Eagles.
