Tasosa Mpinganjira burial set on Thursday
The remains of Hellen Mpinganjira Tasosa, the former General Secretary of the Netball Association of Malawi, will be laid to rest on Thursday.
Her body will be retrieved from Mthunzi Funeral Services in Blantyre at approximately 3 PM and transported to Chemusa, close to a location referred to as Black Box, where a vigil is currently being held.
As per the information provided by the late Helen’s brother, Albert Mpinganjira, the remains will be conveyed to her ancestral village of Kamphinda, situated near the turn-off to Kamuzu International Airport in Lumbadzi, Lilongwe, on Wednesday.
The burial is anticipated to occur on Thursday.
Tasosa passed away earlier today at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre, where she had been undergoing treatment. She was 65 years of age.
She is survived by her daughter, Beatrice.
