Delays irk Kalumo legal team

The legal representatives for former Immigration Chief, Brigadier General Charles Kalumo, have voiced their apprehension regarding the ongoing postponement in the decision concerning his bail application.

Kalumo submitted his bail request on Wednesday of the previous week, after being apprehended on Sunday on allegations of office abuse.

Nevertheless, five days have passed, and the court has not yet issued its ruling.

His lawyer Chrispine Ndalama, states that this delay has left his client in a state of uncertainty, particularly after the court suggested that the verdict would be communicated through email.
