“Chi-si stupid”: Comedian Chisi faces the wrath of Malawians

Facebook users have stormed state owned broadcaster MBC page where they are dressing down comedian Chisi who is asking Vice President Michael Usi to stop attacking the government machinery.

On his campaign trail, Usi, also a comedian has been alleging that the government is infested with corrupt and thieving politicians who are choking its operations.

Usi, who is also Odya Zake Alibe Mlandu president has urged public officials to do their job for the citizenry’s betterment.

Among others, he claims that the country is not developing due to these two major culprits.

However, this has not gone down well with comedian Chisi who has demanded Usi to produce evidence supporting his claims.

In a video clip Chisi has threatened to spill the beans about Usi’s past mistakes if the Vice President does not stop his attacks on the current administration.

“Pamene tikusupula bala la wina, tidziwenso kuti wina atha kusupula bala lathu,” said Chisi saying he will expose mis-dealings of Usi.

The threats have in turn angered some Malawians, who have branded Chisi a traitor and a sellout.

“Umphwi ngoipa, walola kugulidwa ndi MCP kuti apeleke mzake wakalekale,” said one Facebook user.

Another one said, “Never trust your friend, not even when you are winning.”

“So we have foolish and stupid educated savages who put politics ahead of our nation,” questioned another user.
