Mangochi NGOs challenged on professionalism

Mangochi District Commissioner Davis Chigwenembe has called on NGOs operating in the district to register with the NGO Regulatory Authority (NGORA) and the district’s Civil Society Organizations Network.

Chigwenembe emphasized the importance of reporting project implementation progress, citing the need for transparency and accountability.

NGORA’s Pilirani Munkha reported that three unregistered NGOs in Mangochi have been contacted to follow proper procedures.

Stakeholders hailed the meeting, identifying gaps and making action plans to utilize strengths and opportunities in developing district plans.
