Beer kills: Man dies in Shire River
A 40-year-old man, Paul Simenti, has drowned in the Shire River at Mtayamoyo dock in Nsanje.
According to police, Simenti was drunk and attempted to swim across the river after being denied access to a canoe.
He got tired and drowned.
Police have confirmed the incident and are investigating.
