Police in Malawi capital Lilongwe have arrested 30-year-old Norman Kambanje from Thyolo for allegedly defiling a 17-year-old girl.
The suspect reportedly lured the victim with false promises to recover her stolen phone, then defiled her under the guise of a ritual.
Kambanje is in police custody and will be charged with defilement.
