Two X-ray machines stolen at Chiradzulu hospital
Two X-Ray Machines at Chiradzulu Hospital have been stolen, with one of the workers as a suspect thus far.
The police chief of the district, Henry Kalungu, has confirmed this.
Kalungu said that due to the controversy at the hospital, the report of the incident did not reach his office even after it was reported that the machines were stolen.
He said that the suspects in the case took drugs to kill themselves and that they luckily survived.
Reports identify the suspect as Yamikani Mapapa who works at the hospital’s ‘X-Ray’ department.
Meanwhile, police say they are waiting for the suspect to recover so that they can continue their investigation.
