CDH Investment Bank for quality education
CDH Investment Bank has signed a US$120,000 (approximately K210 million) Memorandum of Understanding with Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR).
The partnership focuses on eco-forestry and tourism, solar energy infrastructure, and student scholarship innovation.
CDH Bank’s Chief Business Development Officer, Jamal Kamoto, said the bank was impressed with LUANAR’s management of a previous US$30,000 grant, prompting the increased support .
LUANAR Vice Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Kaunda, welcomed the partnership, saying it will positively impact students and surrounding communities.
The funds will support tree planting, solar energy projects, and scholarships for innovative students.
