Crocodile kills Man in Lake Malawi

A 26-year-old man, Nickson Nkhoma from Kasungu district, has died in a crocodile attack while bathing in Lake Malawi on Likoma Island.

Nkhoma had visited the island with a friend for business purposes.

Police, with the help of the community, recovered the body, and a postmortem confirmed death by suffocation.

Residents report that the same crocodile had been spotted near the shore for days.
