Woman killed by Lightening in Neno
A 47-year-old woman, Joan Chapendeka from Chirombo village in Neno, died after being struck by lightning while working in her cassava field.
Neno Police Publicist Rebecca Msoliza stated that a postmortem by Neno District Hospital confirmed the cause of death as cardiogenic shock due to lightning.
The lightning also struck a nearby tree.
