A heated debate has erupted in the Malawian music scene after musician Driemo publicly slammed fellow artist Rashley, claiming he had lost popularity due to a presumable sex scandal four years ago.
Musician Driemo has controversially attributed fellow artist Rashley’s ongoing challenges in the industry to a sex scandal that emerged in 2021. He says Rashely failed to keep his private parts private.
Driemo, has since highlighted the importance of discipline among artists.
He says that the leaked video of Rashley enjoying intimate moments with a woman demonstrates a serious lapse in judgment and personal restraint.
The controversial footage, which has since circulated widely across social media and pornographic websites, raised eyebrows and questions about Rashley’s professionalism.
“Malawians have a low tolerance for public blunders. Once you’ve faltered, it’s a long road to redemption in this industry,” he said.
Rashley’s video, which went viral shortly after its release, has left many questioning his future in music.
Meanwhile Rashley has announced that he will address the matter directly in a statement scheduled to be released tonight.
