A year gone since man killed himself for denied sex
Today, marks exactly a year since a man identified as Lawrence Harry of Nkhalamba in Salima became popular on Malawi’s social media spaces after killing himself because his wife refused to have sex with him for the third time in a day.
A police report in the district stated that Harry had been married to his wife, Suseni Lawrence, for a year.
Harry reportedly had sex with his wife multiple times a day.
On one day, he would have sex with his wife in the morning and afternoon, then request again after dinner.
His wife refused, saying she was tired and would agree later at night, according to police.
This reportedly did not please the man who bought Actellic as a drink.
Harry died at the Salima government hospital where he was taken for treatment.
The deceased was 23 years old and his wife was 37.
